Frequently Asked Questions
Advising
1. Do I need an appointment for advising?
Yes, all advising appointments are by appointment. Currently, appointments are scheduled for Monday mornings from 10:00 – 12:00 PM and Wednesday afternoons from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Please contact the AAAS front office at 301-405-1158 to schedule an advising appointment.
2. “I really want/need to get into a class, but the class is full and I am currently on the wait-list. Can you put me in?”

3. “I want to register for an internship. How do I go about apply?”
Please check-out our website for details about applying for internships, which include undergraduate teaching assistantships, undergraduate research assistantships as well as internships at numerous sites throughout the Washington Metropolitan areas.
