Taylor Simone-Johnson, The African American Studies Department Representative for the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC), formally invites all AFAM students to the DSAC’s Annual Student/Faculty Dinner that will be held on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023 in the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center.
The DSAC Student Faculty Dinner is a great opportunity to build connections and bond with staff in the African American Studies department outside of an academic setting.
RSVP as soon as possible. Upon clicking the link, you will see a message that there is a waitlist. However, since there hasn't been many AASP majors, minors, or certificates have RSVP'd you all will likely be able to attend. Encourage professors to attend the event as well.
