Drs. Sangeetha Madhavan and Mike Wagner spent part of the summer in Nairobi, Kenya conducting training for Wave 2 of data collection for the JAMO project. Thanks to the incredible work of a highly skilled field team in Nairobi, the project successfully reached 95% of its target sample in Wave 1. In addition, Dr. Madhavan will also work closely with the Kenyan researchers to ensure that essential findings are disseminated after every wave to policymakers in crucial government sectors to inform interventions to improve the lives of mothers and children living in low-income communities.
