As part of the John B. Slaughter Lecture Series, the Department of African American Studies invites all guests to attend the following lecture starring Dr. Odette Sangupamba Mwilu, Dean and Professor at the College of Computer Sciences at the Catholic University of Congo in Kinshasa. Titled "Young African Inventors in the 20th and 21st Century", Dr. Sangupamba Mwilu will lend proficiency and expertise in explaining the use of artificial intelligence in young Africans’ inventions. 

About the Speaker:

Dr. Sangupamba Mwilu had worked at the famous Laboratoire Cedric de Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers de Paris.  She has specialized in Computer Sciences under Business Intelligence (BI), Computer Performance and Data Volume, and Cloud Computing.

 

The hybrid event will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 12:30pm-1:30pm at the 1102 Conference Room and on Zoom.
