Join AAAS department Chair, Dr. Sharon Harley, for a lecture on the founding of African American and Africana Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. 

Dr. Harley will discuss the founding of African American Studies here and across the nation and the importance of ethnic studies programs in making a more diverse campus and nation.
