It is with great excitement that we announce our first in a series of Brown Bag events to kick off the Fall 2021 semester at the Department of African American Studies!

Our Interim Chair, Dr. John Drabinski, will be leading our first Brown Bag event on September 15, 2021 from 12:30pm – 2pm EDT. Dr. Drabinksi will discuss “Post-Reparative Thinking” in the postcolonial Americas, looking to cinema, literature, political theory, and philosophy.
